Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Hamilton High Street Residence Inc.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including their living spaces and common areas.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, as needed.
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in healthcare or a related field is an asset.
