Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Hamilton High Street Residence Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including changing bed linens and cleaning equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in patient care or a related field is an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
