Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Analyst or Associate to join our Corporate Finance Advisory team within Global Banking and Markets at Scotiabank. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in a broad range of transactions and play a crucial role in supporting senior members in generating new business opportunities and executing existing ones.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing the financial needs of corporate clients, collecting and consolidating company, industry, and market data, and completing credit rating analysis. You will also create high-quality presentations, facilitate the execution of ratings advisory mandates, and identify and develop business opportunities with clients.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of corporate and/or investment banking or leveraged finance experience. A Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering, Economics, Science, or Technology is required. CFA, CPA, or equivalent designation is an asset. Proven records of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities are highly valued.
