About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our Investment Banking team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced mathematical models to analyze and manage risk in our global capital markets business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain complex mathematical models to price and hedge derivatives and structured notes products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement front office analytics for pricing, hedging, and risk management.
  3. Provide daily and on-demand quantitative support to the business, including valuation, risk, and PnL attribution.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in quantitative finance, and apply this knowledge to improve our models and processes.
  5. Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  1. PhD or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Strong programming skills in C++ or Python, with experience in Monte-Carlo simulations and stochastic calculus.
  3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
