Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose complex network issues and implement permanent corrective measures to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the implementation of new network infrastructure solutions to support business needs.
  • Analyze change requests related to network infrastructure, assess impact on existing applications, and suggest and carry out appropriate changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business issues, identify network infrastructure needs, and propose technological solutions.
  • Conduct complex analyses, identify discrepancies, and make recommendations to optimize system efficiency and resolve major problems.
  • Provide management with information to influence orientations and strategies related to network infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience, or master's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Solid problem resolution experience in a Cisco environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of network technologies and concepts, including switches, routers, firewalls, WAN accelerators, VPNs, load balancers, F5, DNS, proxy servers, VoIP, and QoS.
  • Experience with network tools, such as Wireshark and Zabbix.
  • Experience in the financial services sector is an asset.
  • Excellent ability to work in complex environments and grasp complex technological concepts.
  • CCNP certification is an asset.
  • ITIL certification is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence and interact with various stakeholders.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Autonomous and results-oriented.
