About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance on Oracle Cloud Finance modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Oracle Cloud Finance modules
  • Lead month-end support and ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Lead a team of offshore consultants and provide guidance and mentorship
  • Collaborate with the Oracle Cloud SCM and EPM teams to resolve technical issues
  • Design module-specific solutions for Oracle Cloud Finance
  • Conduct requirement gathering and documentation using Oracle Unified Method (OUM) or other prescribed methodologies
  • Develop and implement solutions for functional fit and gap analysis
Requirements
  • 4+ years of extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Finance modules
  • Experience in Oracle implementation and support
  • Commanding knowledge of accounting and business process flows
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Project Cloud
  • Solid understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and standard methodologies related to receivables, assets, payables, and payments
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
