Emergency Veterinarian Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Western Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre in Calgary, AB.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of specialists and emergency veterinarians, providing high-quality patient care and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency veterinary care to patients, including triage, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Collaborate with specialists and emergency veterinarians to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including overnights and weekends
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Requirements
  • DVM degree from an accredited university
  • Previous emergency experience, with completion of an internship program an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and community
  • Passion for emergency medicine and commitment to promoting team-based medicine practices
