Emergency Veterinarian Opportunity

CALGARY ANIMAL REFERRAL & EMERGENCY CENTRE (CARE) is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team.

Schedule: Our Emergency Veterinarians rotate equally through day, evening, and night shifts, offering a balanced schedule for the full team.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada
  • Experience working in an emergency hospital
  • A passion for the diversity of emergency caseloads
  • Excellent critical thinking and diagnostic skills
  • Great organizational skills to meet the demands of a busy shift
  • Exceptional people skills
  • A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
