We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team at Crest Hotel LP. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our hotel's interior and exterior spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
- Facilities Maintenance: Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Groundskeeping: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
- General Maintenance: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and work with minimal supervision.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Financial Benefits: As per collective agreement.
- Employment Type: Permanent.
