Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Association Executive Director to join our team at Association Museums New Brunswick Inc. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to lead our organization and contribute to the growth and development of our museum sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic direction and vision of our organization, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
  • Develop and implement effective plans to achieve our objectives, including budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our members, partners, and stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual support.
  • Oversee the management of our museum operations, including collections, exhibitions, and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining a high level of integrity and accountability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as business administration, museum studies, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a non-profit or museum setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
