Job Summary:

The Overnight Task Team Outfitter plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store. Reporting to the Overnight Supervisor, this team member assists in reducing non-selling tasks, allowing Sales Outfitters to focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general replenishment across all departments, including Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Hunt Clothing, and Gifts.
  • Support inventory management by completing on-demand counts, empty peg scanning, display integrity checks, and other tasks in partnership with the Inventory Control team.
  • Execute temporary and permanent price changes, including tagging, signage, and inventory adjustment reviews.
  • Perform recovery tasks across departments, including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, and re-hanging merchandise.
  • Support visual merchandising efforts by replacing fixtures, updating signage, and preparing merchandise for ads and resets.
  • Assist with planogram execution and maintenance in all hardlines departments.
  • Support OMNI fulfillment during peak business periods.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Overnight Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • One or more years of experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Familiarity with planograms and visual merchandising is preferred.
  • Ability to identify and replenish out-of-stock or low-stock inventory.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts.
  • Ability to provide superior customer service.
  • Ability to use good judgment and logic.
  • Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's specific products is an asset.
