About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Hakka Garden. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as planning menus and estimating food requirements for their realization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate special events and plan menus to meet customer demands
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including bakery goods and desserts
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient food production
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 to 35 hours of work per week
