Job Title: Community Health Practice Consultant
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Community Health Practice Consultant to provide education, thought leadership, and consultation on clinical practice services. The successful candidate will plan, organize, and deliver professional nursing services, providing clinical expertise to nurses and allied health workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide education and training on clinical practice services
- Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines
- Provide clinical expertise to nurses and allied health workers
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve health outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized university or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Eligibility or current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP)
- Current certification in immunizations and communicable disease
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience in community/public health nursing providing clinical practice support and education to nurses or an acceptable combination of education, training, and professional experience
- Experience nursing in First Nations communities
