Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Community Health Practice Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide education, thought leadership, and consultation on clinical practice services to support the delivery of high-quality healthcare to our clients.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on clinical practice services
  • Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines and standards
  • Conduct clinical competency assessments and provide feedback to healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement healthcare programs and services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Eligibility or current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP)
  • Current certification in immunizations and communicable disease

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Three (3) years of experience in community/public health nursing providing clinical practice support and education to nurses or an acceptable combination of education, training, and professional experience
  • Experience nursing in First Nations communities
