Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Eastern Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer with Eastern Group, you will be working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights and in noisy, dusty, and hot environments.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule

40 to 50 hours per week.
