Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Development Manager to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects from conceptual design through construction completion.

About the Role:

The Project Development Manager will be accountable for developing and implementing project goals and objectives, ensuring effective and efficient services that support the goals of the project. You will oversee and manage all non-clinical facility-related activities, including planning, architecture, implementation, and procurement of new facilities and/or renovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with project consultants and various user groups.
  • Supervise staff, consultants, and work with/collaborate with user groups through coaching and assigning responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement project budget estimates, procurement documentation, evaluation, and contract management for concurrent projects.
  • Manage approved capital and operating budgets and resource allocations, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Advises senior management to achieve its vision and strategic direction through the development of programming and capital submission requirements to the Government.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in a relevant discipline, supplemented by a related professional designation, plus 10 years' experience in all phases of project planning and construction inclusive of supervisory experience, in a large complex organization such as health care. You must also possess advanced project management skills, comprehensive knowledge of healthcare and relevant government procedures, standards, and requirements. Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan.
