Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Bethel Happy Daycare Center Inc. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes ordering supplies and equipment, assisting with record-keeping, and engaging children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and craft preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in developing and implementing programs that promote child development
  • Order and maintain supplies and equipment
  • Assist with record-keeping and data collection
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to lift and move children and equipment
