**Job Description**
This Pharmacy Technician position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and are looking to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have completed a Pharmacy Technician diploma or bridging program and have at least one year of experience working in a pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality patient care by assisting pharmacists with preparing, packaging, and distributing medications
* Ensure accurate processing of patient prescriptions, including evaluating legality, interpreting, and inputting all prescriptions, labels, and consent forms into the pharmacy's computer system
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace and dispensary, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies
* Collaborate with the pharmacy team to manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and meet operational goals
Qualifications:
* Diploma or degree in Pharmacy Technician or related field
* PEBC Qualifying exam certification
* Compounding experience
* Membership in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists
* 1 year continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment
* Proficient computer knowledge and skills; Windows proficiency required
