Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Hero Certified Burgers. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our customers.
    • Train and develop our staff, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.
    • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that we are achieving the best possible value for our customers.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
    • Work closely with our customers to understand their needs and preferences, using this information to improve our menu and services.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and cash handling.
    • Prepare and submit reports, providing regular updates on sales, profits, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high levels of pressure.
