Job Summary:

The Greater Essex County District School Board is seeking a qualified Custodian Replacement to join our team. As a Custodian Replacement, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of schools and facilities
  • Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting
  • Operate equipment and machinery, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers
  • Communicate effectively with staff and students
  • Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • Previous cleaning experience in a school or commercial building (asset)
  • Ability to operate equipment and machinery
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
  • Commitment to creating a fair, inclusive, and anti-racist environment
