Job Title: Custodian Replacement

The Greater Essex County District School Board is seeking a qualified Custodian Replacement to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to fill a temporary Custodian position. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in our schools
  • Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting
  • Operate equipment and machinery as required
  • Communicate effectively with staff and students
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team

Requirements:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • Previous cleaning experience in a school or commercial building (an asset)
  • Ability to operate equipment and machinery
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
  • Commitment to creating a fair, inclusive, and anti-racist environment
