Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Subway Nanaimo South Island Hwy. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food to customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
