Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Mobility and Transfers: Assist residents with mobility and transfers, including walking, standing, and using assistive devices.
  • Nutrition and Hydration: Assist residents with eating and drinking, including feeding and hydration.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including cleaning and laundry.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: Nursing Aide Certificate and Health Care Aide Certificate.
