Landscape Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Project Manager to join our team at COREPRO LANDSCAPING.
The successful candidate will have a background in landscaping and management, with the ability to oversee projects from start to finish.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
Responsibilities- Direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and efficient use of resources.
- Hire, supervise and schedule staff, promoting a positive work environment and achieving project deadlines.
- Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns, planning and managing logistics to minimize delays.
- Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property.
- Schedule events, programs and activities, coordinating with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- Schedule work, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively to meet project objectives.
- Plan and direct grounds maintenance, implementing strategies to maintain property appearance and health.
- Plan and estimate labour and materials, developing budgets and schedules to ensure project viability.
- Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, collaborating with contractors and suppliers.
- Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work, overseeing quality control and safety protocols.
- Maintain work records and logs, tracking progress and performance metrics.
- Tender and administer contracts, negotiating terms and conditions to secure best outcomes.
- Read blueprints and drawings, interpreting designs and specifications to inform project decisions.
- Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring machinery is in good working order and minimizing downtime.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, procuring necessary resources to support project needs.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers, guiding them in their roles and responsibilities.
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Handling heavy loads, requiring physical stamina and dexterity.
- Physically demanding work, involving manual labor and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail, essential for maintaining high-quality standards.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting required for certain tasks.
