About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at K-WOOD KITCHENS INC. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing purchasing policies and procedures to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Contract Management
    • Review and analyze purchase orders, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and conditions.
    • Manage contracts and agreements to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
  • Supply Chain Optimization
    • Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance and reduce lead times.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Inventory Management
    • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
    • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Develop and maintain reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and supply chain metrics.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook.
