We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at Iqbal Foods. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and warehouse departments across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Assign and manage projects and programs to the purchasing and warehouse departments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Procurement Coordination: Coordinate the activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Budget Planning: Plan and control budget and expenditures, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost savings.
- Operations Management: Plan and organize daily operations, including the management of inventory, contracts, and supplier relationships.
- Compliance Review: Review purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and legitimate.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Purchasing Policy Development: Plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Quality Control: Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services, ensuring that they meet company standards and expectations.
- Contract Management: Authorize the development of specifications for products or services, and manage contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Review and process claims against suppliers, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and legitimate.
- Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis of data and information, ensuring that it is accurate and relevant to business decisions.
- Reporting: Oversee the preparation of reports, ensuring that they are accurate and timely.
- Sales Team Leadership: Lead the sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that it is accurate and up-to-date.
- Operations Evaluation: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Dependability: Demonstrate a high level of dependability, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Organized: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, ensuring that tasks are prioritized and managed effectively.
