Senior Culinary Expert for New Mooon Rice

New Mooon Rice is seeking an experienced Senior Culinary Expert to lead our culinary team and create innovative dishes for our restaurants.
About the Role:This is a permanent position, requiring 30-40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen performance.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Create new recipes that showcase our South Indian cuisine specialties.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, ensuring exceptional presentation and flavor.
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities across multiple restaurants, streamlining processes for efficiency.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting food safety and quality standards.
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in culinary arts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and menus.
- Strong organizational skills, with excellent time management and leadership abilities.
- A competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
