Nursing Care Specialist

Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse)The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job DescriptionThis is a permanent position requiring the ability to work 40-80 hours bi-weekly. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, with experience being an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
- Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Provide nursing care
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
- Perform administrative tasks
Work Setting:
- Nursing home/home for the aged
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid registration as a Registered Nurse with provincial or territorial authorities
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
- CPR Certificate
