About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled technical professional with a minimum of 8 years' experience in the sugar industry to fill this key position. As a Sr. Process Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our processes and equipment, implementing process improvements, and providing leadership to our team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Quality, Maintenance, and Corporate Engineering, to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present reports on plant performance, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of safety programs, quality initiatives, and sustainability projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Sugar Engineering (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in the sugar industry, preferably in a supervisory or technical role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Proven leadership and process improvement skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
