Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Systems Manager to join our team in Quebec City, Canada. As the ideal candidate, you will have over 10 years of experience in managing HR systems and leading teams. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the administration, optimization, and smooth operation of the Dayforce HR management system, ensuring compliance with current legislation and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the proper functioning and performance of the Dayforce system used for HR and payroll management.
  • Oversee the system's evolution based on company needs (integration of new features, configurations, process updates).
  • Ensure configurations comply with current legislation and internal standards.
  • Safeguard personal data security and ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.
Team Management
  • Lead and support a team of 5 collaborators (HR system specialists, payroll managers).
  • Organize team meetings, set objectives, monitor performance, and promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
Process Optimization
  • Analyze current processes and propose improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors or redundancies.
  • Establish performance indicators to monitor various aspects of HR and payroll management.
  • Identify and resolve technical or functional issues arising in the system use.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the HR, Finance, IT departments, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated and smooth information management.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with operational teams, providing technical and functional support to resolve payroll and HR system-related issues.

The successful candidate will have excellent collaboration skills and the ability to understand the needs of various business units/HR partners, translating them into effective technical HR solutions. You will also possess the ability to effectively communicate technical challenges to stakeholders.
