As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and developing and preparing design sketches.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare engineering designs and drawings
* Read blueprints to determine work requirements
* Develop and prepare design sketches
* Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
* Prepare contracts and tenders
* Write technical reports
* Write specifications
* Estimate costs and materials
* Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
* Examine drawings for conformity and errors
Work Environment:
* This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week
* The work language is English
* Public transportation is available
Requirements:
* College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience
