Mechanical Draftsperson

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsperson to join our team at EMEC Design Group LTD. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Develop and prepare design sketches to visualize and communicate design concepts.
- Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare contracts and tenders to secure new business opportunities.
- Write technical reports to document design decisions and project outcomes.
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors to ensure high-quality designs.
- Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements and ensure designs meet customer needs.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting or a related field.
- Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to work 32-40 hours per week.
