Electrical Installation Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our team at OZZ Electric BC. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will be responsible for installing various electrical equipment, including sub-panels and transformers, lighting, raceway systems, heating and cooling systems, and motors. You will also be responsible for measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit, pulling wire through conduit, and testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Install electrical equipment, including sub-panels and transformers, lighting, raceway systems, heating and cooling systems, and motors
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit
  • Pull wire through conduit
  • Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety
  • Ensure maintenance of tools, equipment, and personal protection equipment

Requirements

  • Safety-first attitude
  • General knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements
  • Good communication skills
  • Apprentice Electrician ticket, completion of an electrical foundations or ELTT program
  • Experience in high-rise residential construction (an asset)
