Job Title: Mechanic - Truck

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic - Truck to join our team at Olymel S.E.C/ Transport Transbo. As a Mechanic - Truck, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with commercial transport trucks.
  • Inspect and maintain truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field, such as automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in a commercial transport setting.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
