Postdoctoral Research Fellow

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research team at Ontario Tech University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field and will be responsible for conducting research in the area of healthcare utilization and rehabilitation care.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team to develop research hypotheses, design data collection strategies, and interpret study results.
- Develop protocols for population-based cohort studies.
- Analyze quantitative data and conduct statistical analyses of large-scale population-based health data.
- Coordinate advisory committee meetings and collaborate in the conduct of scoping and systematic reviews.
- Engage in knowledge translation activities related to rehabilitation care utilization.
- Plan, write, and present papers and presentations for peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals.
- Clinical degree in the field of rehabilitation or Ph.D. in Public Health, Epidemiology, Rehabilitation Sciences, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing epidemiological data using statistical software such as SAS, STATA, R, or Python.
- Experience with evidence synthesis of the literature and manuscript preparation, publications, and grant proposals.
- Strong scientific writing and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible, and team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
