About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Tina Cake Desserts. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dining area and kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our customers.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as vegetables and fruit, to support our culinary team.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, and work surfaces, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, maintaining a well-organized inventory.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, adhering to waste management procedures.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives, maintaining a high level of kitchen equipment maintenance.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers.
Work Environment

As a Dishwasher at Tina Cake Desserts, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure to meet the demands of our kitchen.
