About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Gastronomy Gastown. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Place dishes in storage areas, ensuring they are properly stacked and secured.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our strict cleaning protocols.
  • Scour pots and pans to remove any food residue and stains.
Work Environment

As a Dishwasher at Gastronomy Gastown, you can expect to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of dishes to be washed and stored. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
