Pharmacist Lead Position at Metro Inc.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team as a Pharmacist Lead at Metro Inc. in Sudbury, Ontario.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to take on a leadership role in our pharmacy department. As a Pharmacist Lead, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting the Pharmacy Manager with the management of the dispensary and front shop, and contributing to the achievement of Company goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including dispensing medications and counseling patients on their medication regimens.
  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager with the management of the dispensary and front shop, including supervising pharmacy technicians and assistants.
  • Contribute to the achievement of Company goals and objectives, including customer-focused patient care, pharmacy services, store standards, profitability, and managing inventory, shrink, controllable expenses, labor, and productivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree (4-year university program).
  • Registered Part A Pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Injection certified, Smoking Cessation certified, and registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Proficient in current PC systems, MS Office programs, and pharmacy software (Kroll).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $125,000-$140,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous pension plan.
