About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team at Extreme Networks. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient backend systems using Java.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality Java-based backend systems, including microservices and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, Spring Boot, and API development.
  • Strong understanding of data serialization, NoSQL databases, and in-memory databases.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
