Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team at Extreme Networks. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems using Java.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain APIs using OpenAPI and gRPC.
  • Work with container technologies and Kubernetes to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Implement data serialization using Google ProtoBuf and Amazon Kinesis.
  • Design and implement database solutions using NoSQL, relational, and in-memory databases.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing using Pytest.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java, Golang, and Python development.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and container technologies.
  • Strong understanding of API design and implementation using OpenAPI and gRPC.
  • Experience with data serialization using Google ProtoBuf and Amazon Kinesis.
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL, relational, and in-memory databases.
  • Experience with automated testing using Pytest.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Cloud experience with AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with resilient, scalable distributed systems.
  • GitHub expertise.
