Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Teranorth Construction & Engineering Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and measurements for construction projects
  • Cut, shape, and assemble materials as required
  • Install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, and other carpentry features
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices as needed
Work Environment:

The Carpenter will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
