Job Opportunity: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Alberta Health Services, South Zone is seeking a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at the Chinook Regional Hospital (CRH) in Lethbridge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the Department of Addiction & Mental Health call schedule to provide timely and effective care to patients.
  • Establish and maintain a Psychiatry practice in the community of Lethbridge, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Obtain and maintain AHS Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to ensure seamless integration into our team.
  • Adhere to the AHS Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules, and AHS Policies to maintain a safe and respectful work environment.
  • Contribute to quality improvement programs and initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Qualifications:
  • Hold certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Psychiatry.
  • Have certification or additional training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to ensure expertise in this specialized field.
