The annual salary for this position ranges from $81,014 to $115,200, depending on experience.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing professional nursing care to patients in the post-anesthetic care unit (PACU). As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for applying all aspects of the nursing process to ensure the highest level of care and comfort for our patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Critical Care certificate
- PACU course an asset
- Experience with arterial and central lines, epidurals and PCAs
- Problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility
- Ability to function as part of a team in a rapidly changing environment
- Diplomacy, public relation and conflict resolution skills required
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and a strong knowledge of policy and practice standards
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record
