Careaker Job Description
St. Thomas More College, a leading institution within the University of Saskatchewan, is seeking a skilled Caretaker to join its team. As a key member of our facilities management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks as assigned, including but not limited to cleaning washrooms, common areas, and floors.
- Provide cleaning services in other areas as required to cover absences of other caretaking staff.
- Report building deficiencies and ensure the building is secure after hours.
- Provide efficient and courteous customer service to the St. Thomas More College community and visiting public.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate is required.
- A current acceptable criminal record check is required.
- Previous experience in maintenance is an asset.
