We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at Wellington North Power Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. They will also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Reconcile accounts
