Job Title: Welder

Les ventilateurs Ventmeca inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and flux core arc welding (FCAW).
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, including cranes and forklifts.
  • Work with various types of materials, including stainless steel, steel, iron, and heavy metals.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 5 years or more in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes and techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
