About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Les ventilateurs Ventmeca inc. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to ensure high-quality results.
  • Operate and maintain manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to meet production demands.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to precision-cut materials.
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC) to efficiently cut through various materials.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to safely move heavy materials.
Materials and Techniques
  • Work with stainless steel, steel, iron, and heavy metals to fabricate custom components.
  • Apply shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and flux core arc welding (FCAW) techniques to achieve high-quality welds.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Operate soldering machines to precision-solder components.
Area of Specialization
  • Focus on custom fabrication to meet client specifications.
