Job Title: Senior Compositing Artist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compositing Artist to join our team at Sony Pictures Imageworks. As a key member of our visual effects team, you will be responsible for combining layers of previously created materials to create final images that meet art direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Composite multiple types of shots from simple to moderately difficult
  • Integrate foreground, mid-ground, and background scenes to extend a set, scene, environment, or effect
  • Incorporate characters or digital objects into scenes
  • Create seamless transitions from filmed footage into composited content
  • Meet productivity and quota targets

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of progressively complex experience in production or feature film
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant software, including Nuke
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
