Job Title: File Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team at Jack R. Bowerman, CPA - Professional Corporation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date filing systems, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and providing general administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and electronic
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, verifying, and distributing documents
  • Provide general administrative support to our team, including answering telephone calls, responding to electronic enquiries, and photocopying and collating documents
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information as required
  • Prepare invoices and bank deposits
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a general office environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires the ability to lift heavy loads and handle repetitive tasks.
