About the Role


Mildred Bernardez is seeking a trustworthy and caring Child Caregiver to join our team. As a vital member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to children in a home-based setting.



Salary:
$28.00 - $30.50 per hour
(estimated hourly wage based on industry standards)

Job Description


Your primary duties will include:



  • Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being at all times;
  • Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children, taking into account any dietary restrictions or allergies;
  • Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children, as needed;
  • Assuming full responsibility for household chores and light housekeeping during your shifts;
  • Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development skills;
  • Maintaining accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children;
  • Establishing a daily routine that promotes healthy habits and allows for relaxation and playtime;
  • Providing regular updates to parents on their child's progress and any issues that may arise;
  • Collaborating with other caregivers to ensure seamless communication and a consistent approach to childcare.


Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities;
  • A valid driver's license (if applicable);
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
